Really interesting essay on Stapleford Park. My great grand parents worked there, my grand mother was born there and was married in the church. In the 70s I visited my great grand parents when they lived in a flat above the stables. I have memories of the stables still in use, the miniature gauge railway, the wishing well on the approach to the front of the hall and the lion park. If you know of any records of families who worked for the Grettons between 1913 and the 70s I’d love to see them.
